Dragon Nest Silent Play through
Game Summary
Dragon Nest is a Free to Play (F2P) Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game that came out in 2010. I decided to give it a play through due to it's diverse game play and many creative challenges incorporated into it.

In the first video I create a spear wielding character, if many are wondering why i'm a girl it is because the characters are gender locked, meaning each class has a specific gender. I chose this class because it seemed to be unpopular, but there is diversity between classes. The main premise is in this part is an unknown priest with a mask who is causing trouble.

In the second video, my character goes through job specialization, or advances, new skills and abilities become available, and I continue progressing with the main quest. Trying to go to another continent, the boat that runs there breaks down and needs parts. The black knight is revealed along with a mysterious woman named Agetha, they fight at the end, showing a sour past, and the Black Knight gets away.

In the third video I get tired of playing on the normal difficulty and step it up to master mode, meaning, the enemies are more active and there are more of them, not to mention the bosses change their tactics quite a bit more. In this part I basically go through dungeons in master mode destroying everything. There was a problem with video rendering, but nevertheless, you still get to see what master mode has to offer.

Alright, so this video is the fourth video right? Well, these monsters as the title says are getting tricky. You know how when in a game you beat a boss and feel accomplished with it? Well throw that all out the window when you meet the fire gargoyle! Did you know that the fire mages can actually bring that giant monster back? Normally i'd be alright with that, only, my health points (HP) weren't exactly in the best shape. You didn't get to see it since the video cut short at the end, but I do kill it.

Well what can I say for the fifth video? I noticed that the skill animations, though they looked flashy, they were not optimal for getting out the Damage per second and Damage per minute I was looking for (DPS & DPM) Basically, the casting time and the cool-down time really made it abysmal in terms of using it in an actual fight. There were more puzzles and quite a few surprising cut-scenes, overall though my main thoughts on this video was to reduce the frames, and up the damage output.

So in the sixth video, I basically made it so that the skills I use are efficient and quick in order to not waste time in frames of animation. As many may have noticed in the last video the amount of time it took to cast skills was relatively slow, and overall the damage output was good at best. Switching around some skills and adding in new ones really boosted the DPS and DPM. In this video you even get to see the black dragon, honestly you gotta wonder how it even flies with those holes in his wings, and the knight transforming into a dragon just made me say wha? I dunno, it doesn't make much sense to me, but the game play is great, totally recommended.

Well finally the finale of Dragon Nest, I finally got my 3rd job class specialization. Can you believe that the song playing was copyright? (It was kind of funny) Still though, I have finished playing Dragon Nest here till further notice and will be moving on to something else in the near foreseeable future. This is the seventh and probably final video of Dragon Nest, and anyone who thinks its a good game is free to play it.
